MONOLITHIC CERAMIC FLOORING

Monolithic ceramic flooring (MCF) products are generally the best choice for concrete protection. They offer high performance, fast and easy execution, are environmentally and user friendly, provide cost optimization and are an effective coating system for all traditional construction applications.

In addition, MCF products provide end users with unique technical solutions in all areas of application. Floor installations can be carried out at temperatures between 5 and 30°C and humidity less than 80%, which means an extremely wide application window and the possibility of year-round construction.

Long pot life and high curing speed are warranty for quick and easy installation and quick return of objects to primary use.

MCF flooring is extremely easy to restore. They are semi-matte or matte in nature. They need cleaning or gentle grinding, depending on the situation. Local defects can be solved fast and efficiently. For conventional CSF systems, thorough grinding is required or, due to the nature of the system, in the case of peeling complete removal.

CLASSIC SOLVENT-FREE FLOORING

MCF pavements are monolithic over both surface and volume.

What does that mean?

The surface look is seamless all over the surface, with no joints, making it easy to clean and maintaining the look. Monolithic structure over volume means the same composition - the ratio of the epoxy binder to the fillers - both on the surface, in the depth and at the bottom of the coating.

This has many advantages in practice, such as higher resistance to mechanical wear and impact. In the case of overload, flooring is damaged only locally by the uniform composition and does not peel off as is usual with CSF systems. CSF systems do not have a uniform composition by volume - there is a very high proportion of epoxy resin (high gloss) and low amount of fillers on the surface and on the bo om prac cally fillers on the bottom and very little binder. When local overload occurs, the pressure breaks and, as a rule, peels off over a large area.

Therefore, MCF flooring lasts much longer.

Abrasion

Due to even distribution of filler - quartz sand in the whole volume of the flooring, it is extra durable and real wear off is minimum, even under high loading!

Fillers – sand, glass beads, etc… sinks/settle on the bottom of the floor layer, so abrasion resistance is determined by the epoxy backbone, which can be high, but still less than quartz sand!

Very high initial impact resistance, but cracks easily under too high stress and continues to crack and peels on large surface.
